Core Arc Studio ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. We created LiveScan to be a privacy-first utility. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

1. On-Device Processing

LiveScan performs all text extraction, optical character recognition (OCR), barcode parsing, and translation entirely on your device. We do not transmit your photos, camera feeds, or scanned text to any external servers. Your data stays on your device.

2. iCloud Synchronization

If you have iCloud enabled on your device, LiveScan will use Apple's CloudKit framework to securely sync your scan history across your personal devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account. We do not have access to this data.

3. Data Collection

We do not collect any personally identifiable information. We do not use third-party analytics trackers, and we do not serve advertisements.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

If you choose to purchase LiveScan Pro, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple via the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store your payment information.

5. Camera and Photo Library Access

LiveScan requires access to your device's camera to perform live text extraction. It also requires access to your Photo Library if you choose to import existing photos. These permissions are used exclusively to process images locally on your device. We never upload or share your media.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
